Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (spleen)

Clinical history:
68 y/o male with abdominal pain and a splenic mass
Immunohistochemistry:
-
- CD10 – Absence of CD10 helps to rule out Burkitt lymphoma.
-
- CD20 – The large neoplastic cells have a mature B-cell phenotype
-
- CD3 – Small, reactive T-cells are present at the edges of the tumor nodules.
-
- Ki-67 – The Ki-67 proliferative index is high, but less than 90%.
